Wind Stay

In this short-term project "Public Instrument", our group is given a theme: wind to begin with. This design should be located in the area of a creative park in the Phoenix Valley Unit at the west of Hangzhou. This park was transformed from an abandoned cement factory and mainly serves the development of surrounding artistic and creative activities.

Currently, fast changing environmental and socioeconomic conditions require more fluid design and use of urban space. So,this design has an intuitive sense of temporarity , namely proposing 24 hours program. It should not merely be a permanent building, but a complex hybrid of architectural elements.
